Curious Where to Go From Here?

I don’t have insurance

Most people living in the U.S. must have a health care plan by January 1, 2014. If you do not, you will have to pay a new tax.

The window to buy a health care plan is between October 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014. You can buy a plan through the new government Marketplace or directly from an insurance company.

You might also be able to get the government to help pay for your health care plan.

I Have Insurance

green shirtIf you buy your insurance on your own, keep doing it. However, you will have new plans to choose from beginning October 1, 2013 and you may be able to get help from the government to pay for part of your insurance plan.

If you have insurance through your job, you probably won’t need to do anything. Most companies will continue to offer insurance to their employees, but if you find that you need assistance shopping for a plan on your own, we would be happy to answer your questions. Come see us at a NHIA location or give us a call so we can discuss your options.
